Healthier pick

My Dr had recommended Hill’s ID and tbh the food looked disgusting to me and I didn’t love the ingredients or thing so read online about the food.

A friend recommended Square Pet and did a comparison with the 2 (thank you SP for having that on your website!). I showed my vet and he said he’s always up for cleaner dog food and totally approved. I feel MUCH better giving my rescue dog Square Pet food and even better that I can order it direct from them.
The only thing that would be helpful would be specifics on how much to give with caloric intake. My friend reached out to the company directly and we were able to get a comparison of their different foods but it would still Be helpful to have a nutritionist on staff to discuss caloric intake etc.
Hoping they consider that in the future!

Not sure; too hard to get out of can; and GUAR GUM !?!

Our dog was doing a little better on the VFS Low Fat Dry, so we decided to try the canned food. The food is wayyyyy too hard to get out of the can. AND, for some reason, there's an empty space down the side of each can, which means the food gets dark and oxidized along this empty space once the can is open. Most canned products, if they have this empty space, it's at the top, so it keeps getting removed. And GUAR GUM. Yuck! This can be a problem for so many dogs with sensitive digestive tracts. The volume of our dog's poop has increased and is more gelatinous. Will be trying some other canned food.

Great for dog.

My dog is doing so very well on this food. He loves it, and his stomach has been doing great on it. Have mainly been giving him this in dry, so wanted to add this canned with it. The only thing is the texture is so hard to get out of can. I am so very pleased with this product, took him to the the vet and let her look at it, said looks good.
